Dr. Bhardwaj completed his DNB in Medical Gastroenterology from the prestigious Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad, which is the largest tertiary care gastro institute in India. He completed his MD in Medicine and MBBS from Government Medical College, Baroda. His specialist training in gastroenterology provided extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of gastrointestinal, pancreatic, biliary and liver diseases, together with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

Professional Experience

• Began his academic career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, where he was involved in clinical care, undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and academic activities.
• Consultant Gastroenterologist and Department Head at the Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute (GCRI), Ahmedabad, within its Interventional Therapeutic Centre (IVTC), managing complex gastrointestinal conditions and performing diagnostic, therapeutic and advanced endoscopic procedures.
• Founded Gastroplus Digestive Disease Centre along with three other gastroenterologists, where his practice is focused on comprehensive gastroenterology and advanced endoscopic care.
• Associated with Rajasthan Hospital, a tertiary care institute running a postgraduate programme, participating in patient management and postgraduate teaching.
• Expert and teaching faculty for advanced endoscopy — EUS & ERCP — at state and national level.
