He has done his MBBS and MD (Medicine) from B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad. He has been trained at prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi which is considered as one of the best academic institutes in India where he did DM Gastroenterology. He is having special interest in liver disease and has done Fellowship in Hepatology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi.

He is proficient in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver disorder including complex cases. Being trained at high volume centre, he is experienced in performing various diagnostic as well as therapeutic procedures including UGI endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Cholangioscopy, Manometry, pH study and capsule endoscopy. He is also trained in managing complex liver disease case including pre and post liver transplant patients, liver cancer and acute on chronic liver failure He has strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients.
